                               Auditions for

JACKSONVILLE MASS CHOIR will be held Tuesday Sept. 6 and Thursday Sept. 8 - 5:00-7pm.

         Unity Church of Jacksonville                      634 Lomax Street in Riverside

Eligibility requirements - Ages 8-25

Prepare a 2 minute selection of your choice

If you currently sing in your school or church choir you are automatically accepted. Audition for placement is still required. Please bring a copy of your school schedule or note from choir director.

Fee - $25 Some scholarships available.

Rehearsals Mondays 6:00-8:00pm.

Vocalists interested in auditioning at other times during the year should contact Ms. McDuffie to schedule an audition if openings are available.

Our Philosophy

JMAC's mission is to spread as much joy,peace and love as we can through our music ministry.

We are a performance based ensemble with a rigorous performance schedule.

There are many opportunities for solos in the group. Due to the high caliber of JMAC singers solos are often shared by members of the group.

There is no room for a diva mentality in JMAC. We believe our group is as strong as it's weakest singer. Therefore we support and uplift each and every member of the ensemble at all times.

No one "owns" a solo in this group. Soloists are determined on an "event by event" basis,and "heart" has a lot to do with who is selected to perform.
