 JMAC WINTER TOUR

Jacksonville Mass Choir will be heading to NYC's APOLLO THEATRE and Bermuda in November to perform as special guests on the Success Series "BERMUDA SPECTACULAR".

JMAC is the only American act on the show.

The group is comprised of  singers from all over Jacksonville and it's surrounding counties. The group is culturally diverse and spiritually focused.

JMAC is under the artistic direction of veteran composer producer Deborah J. McDuffie.

JMAC  PERFORMS AT OBAMA FUNDRAISER

Jacksonville Mass Choir entertained the crowd as it waited for presidential hopeful BARACK OBAMA at Jacksonville's Prime Osborn Convention Center on Friday, June 20, 2008. The group performed songs from it's TO PHILLY WITH LOVE concert. The group presented the full 2-hour spectacular at University of North Florida's Lazzara Performance Hall on Saturday, June 28th.

JMAC also performed a song written

 especially for OBAMA's campaign.

JMAC traveled to Philadelphia for a special concert performance titled "TO PHILLY WITH LOVE",honoring the lives and work of Philadelphia singers, songwriters and producers. 

 Martin Luther King HS Choir

The concert took place at Martin Luther King High School and featured a first time appearance by the Martin Luther King High School Choir.

The concert featured traditional African American spirituals, contemporary gospel and "The Sounds of Philadelphia", complete with choreography!

Our Supporters

 The Jaguars Foundation continues to support Jacksonville Mass Choir, The Boys & Girls Choir and other Arts4Jax Programs through grant funding. Without the initial support of the  NFL Charities and Jaguars Foundation we would not have been able to realize our dream of arts for youths in Jacksonville.

Foundations, Inc., a national not for profit organization in New Jersey specializing in quality education for all children has also provided financial, marketing and media support for Jacksonville Mass Choir.

Ben Carter (Ben Carter Properties), developer and co-owner of St. John's Town Center was so moved when he heard JMAC perform at the TREE LIGHTING he got on the stage and made a commitment to the crowd to provide support to the group.

Shortly after that performance a check in the amount of $10,000 was sent to the organization to further it's mission and goals.

Unity Church of Jacksonville provides us with a wonderful facility for our rehearsals, classes and performances, free of charge.
